Community Health Liaison - Sunflower County

Job Purpose - Reporting to the Program Director, the Community Health Liaison (CHL) for the Delta Health Alliance Delta Futures teen pregnancy prevention program will direct the day-to-day planning and operation of the DHA program, including the implementation of evidence-based, teen pregnancy prevention (TPP) curricula in two in-school settings and one clinic/community setting and the referral of adolescents to youth-friendly sexual health services and community resources.
General Job Duties & Responsibilities - CHLs will facilitate the Delta Futures planning process, coordinate efforts among fellow CHLs, and oversee day-to-day operations. CHLs will receive extensive training on one of three TPP curricula approved by the Office of Adolescent Health. In addition to being trained on program delivery, CHLs will also receive training on pedagogy, through which CHLs will gain skills on how to implement interactive activities, model skills, and discuss sexual topics comfortably.
CHLs will conduct all Delta Futures TPP sessions according to the prescribed delivery schedule put forth by each curriculum. CHLs will also utilize implementation fidelity tools provided by each TPP program's developers to document and ensure that all sessions are taught in sequence and on time. CHLs will refer program participants to specific sexual health services and community resources according to participants' needs.
Finally, a key component of this position will be to foster and maintain positive working relationships with community agencies, DHA partners, health care organizations, school personnel, students and community members.
Specific Job Duties-
A. Participate in activities and strategic planning for the Delta Health Alliance Delta Futures TPP initiative, including completion of TPP programmatic training and implementation of TPP programs in various settings.
B. Ensure TPP programming sessions are inclusive to all groups, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, and/or sexual orientation.
C. Coordinate and refer adolescents to available resources to maximize the effectiveness of the Delta Health Alliance Delta Futures network of sexual health providers and community resources.
D. Represent the Delta Health Alliance in collaborative community-wide activities while developing positive working relationships with local, state, and federal agencies.
E. Participate in formalized tracking and reporting systems to maintain program fidelity, identify program strengths, recommend program changes, and evaluate program outcomes.
F. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications - This position requires a Bachelor degree in education, public health or related field and two years related experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills with computer literacy are required. Preference will be given to qualified applicants in Yazoo and Warren counties.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
